Research has shown with virtually all neurological diseases is that the disease starts years before the first symptom appears. Inflammation seems to be the trigger with neurodegenerative diseases. This inflammation triggers excitotoxicity which leads to Oxidative Stress. Parkinson’s disease, for example, shows no visible symptoms until 50 percent of the neurons have been killed. By this time more connections have been lost.

COGNITIVE MIND supplementExample: Alzheimer’s disease.  When you consider that every 66 seconds a person is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. It’s estimated that about a half a million Americans younger than age 65 have some form of dementia, including Alzheimer's disease., it’s estimated that there are over 5.5 million Americans with Alzheimer’s and that number could be over 16 million in the next 30 years; It’s the 6th leading cause of death and kills more than Breast Cancer and Prostate Cancer combined; two thirds of Americans with Alzheimer’s are women and the costs associated with dementia-related diseases could reach over $1.1 Trillion by 2050. This subject is a big deal.

Parkinson’s disease, for example, shows no visible symptoms until 50 percent of the neurons have been killed. By this time more connections have been lost

The following information may prove to be the most extensive and effective non-drug supplement protocol ever developed to address dementia-related diseases from possible causes to possible prevention.

The Neuron and neurotransmitters are important parts of cognitive dysfunction. The objective here is to not use band-aids but to prepare you to not experience a dementia-related disease as you age. Teach yourself as you would your child. When you drive your car, you wear a seat belt, a bike a helmet, look before you cross the street, and exercise often. Do you get the point? You don’t put the seat belt on after the accident. You prepare yourself just in case it happens.

Our environment and our lifestyles are increasing the probability of dementia disease unless we start to change or improve how we live. Much medical and scientific research supports this non-drug supplement formulation. Try to understand the causes and steps to take early or how to slow the decline if you are at an advanced stage of dementia and already experiencing symptoms.

Cognitive Restoration with Cognitive MIND

This study refers to aging individuals past 45 years of age for the most part who starts to suffer from cognitive dysfunction and diminished feeling of self-worth. People may not feel as young as they used to, their motivation starts to tank and they may start to not have a pleasurable life and the feeling of depression sets in.

These conditions come with declining dopamine levels in the aging brain and what inhibits the release.

Other factors are the purging of Senile cells and the role Oxidative stress plays. Understanding the relationships of Glutamate and Glutathione and how inflammation is the trigger of excitotoxicity along with emphasizing the importance of antioxidants.

Dopamine and the Brain

Dopamine serves as a neurotransmitter that automatically signals nerve cells that regulate body functions to your mood. Our brain cells communicate with each other and the cells in the rest of the body through signals called neurotransmitters. Dopamine is one of the brain's most important neurotransmitters and is the signal our brain uses to transmit information.

Brain Aging. Here is what happens. When we are young MAO-B in the brain regulates the correct amount of dopamine. As we age past 45 years or so, dopamine levels decline.

Aging individuals suffer progressive cognitive dysfunction along with a diminished sense of well-being. These conditions come with declining dopamine levels in the aging brain. We now know without question that the main reason for Dopamine depletion is the rising levels of the enzyme called MAO-B that inhibits the release of dopamine.

We now not only feel older, but the diminishing dopamine accelerates brain aging. The brain signals cognitive decline; destroys brain cells, reduces energy and sex drive and progression of Parkinson's and other neurological disorders. All these factors lead to a shorter lifespan. So, simply put, Cognitive MIND blocks the MAO-B enzyme to protect dopamine depletion and possibly increase your longevity.

Dopamine Loss – Organic Sulfur

Part of the answer as to why we lose dopamine is mitochondrial damage- where 80 percent of the generated energy is through cellular aerobic activity meaning, requires oxygen. This is where and why Organic Sulfur Crystals play such a vital role in increasing oxygen to the blood and total lymphatic system and then to the brain to reduce inflammation and promote energy and cellular regeneration. You need to stop this loss of function which speeds up aging and is linked to not only neurological disorders but also to diabetes and heart failure. Our cellular mitochondria are responsible for converting energy from our food to usable proteins and fats that are broken down inside our cells.

Mitochondria: Powerhouse of the cells. Performs cellular respiration

To help protect the mitochondria from age-related decay we need to enhance our intake of Coenzyme Q-10 as at least 95 percent of all cellular energy relies on it. CoQ10 has two electrons which make it a powerful antioxidant to fight free radical damage reducing oxidative stress. CoQ10 is so important that it is found in energy-intensive organs like the brain, liver, kidneys, and heart.

CoQ10 levels rise when you are young and decline as you age. And if someone recommended statins for you they can reduce CoQ10 levels by up to 45 percent.  With proper CoQ10 intake, you may not only slow down but possibly reverse the effects of aging.

When we experience mitochondria damage it develops into constant exposure to Free Radicals causing oxidative damage because of the weakening of antioxidant defenses.

Oxidative Stress – Antioxidants

A Free Radical is an atom or molecule with an unpaired electron.

When the hot spot of every cell burns glucose for fuel, the glucose becomes oxidized making “Free Radicals”.

If you take a breath, you just inhaled a number of chemicals – burnt jet fuel, air pollution from cars and factories, gases released from your carpet. Foods are grown in chemically treated soil, processed food, etc. In fact, because of the use of chemical fertilizers, we have effectively broken the sulfur cycle in countries that use these herbicides and pesticides. If we don’t control these we are causing major problems in our bodies.

Free Radicals are very reactive, and they need to find an electron in any way they can. They usually attach to another molecule and turn THAT molecule into a free radical as well. This goes on and on destroying healthy tissue. Free radicals run havoc in our bodies and need to be controlled.

Now here is where Antioxidants come in. They neutralize Free Radicals – if they were getting paid that’s what they get paid for. These molecules (supplements, fruits, vegetables), sacrifice themselves by giving Free Radicals the electron it needs thus stopping this chain reaction and reducing oxidative stress.

When free radical production exceeds antioxidant defenses you have oxidative stress. Even though our bodies need some free radicals to function, Antioxidants must even them out or oxidative stress occurs. Without any question, Oxidative Stress is the root cause of over 70 chronic diseases like heart disease, cancer, diabetes, stroke, arthritis, dementia-related diseases like Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s, macular degeneration, lupus, MS and it goes on.

So, if we control Free Radicals, we can reduce oxidative stress and reduce the risk of diseases and slow down the aging process.

Glutathione and Glutamate

A consistent finding is that people with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease have very low levels of glutathione in their brain cells. Glutathione is a main protector against mercury toxicity. Meaning low glutathione levels puts you at a greater risk of mercury damage to the brain and the disease gets worse as the glutathione levels fall. All this increase free radical damage in the brain and when glutamate levels become too high it also depletes glutathione which causes brain inflammation.

If you look in a hospital situation at people who have cancer, AIDS, or other very serious diseases, almost invariably they are depleted in glutathione.

High glutamate levels can activate microglia which releases two forms of excitotoxins and eventually antioxidants are depleted, and damage increases dramatically. This increases free radical damage and brain inflammation.

Inflammation – Enemy of Dementia

Inflammation is a major trigger for excitotoxicity and they both appear in all neurodegenerative diseases and inflammatory cytokines damage brain cells. In most brain diseases, at least early on before any symptoms appear, there are brain cell connections that are the most damaged and not the cells themselves.

So, this is a good thing because if you start our formulation early enough, more serious damaged may be avoided or you may experience dramatic improvements.

Cognitive MIND

We now know that the three main triggers for dementia-related diseases are, inflammation, excitotoxicity, and oxidative stress. Dopamine depletion is a symptom, not a cause and as we age, this depletion affects neurological functions and Cognitive MIND may help restore youthful levels.

We know from scientific research, during normal aging the brain accumulates senescent inflammation generating cells that impact the entire body. Our Cognitive MIND formulation has shown to selectively delete senile cells in the brain and reduce memory deficits and may actually protect brain cell functions.

Turmeric/Curcumin has been around for thousands of years and known for its anti-inflammatory action and is a very powerful antioxidant that may protect against cognitive memory defects.

Cellular Energy - Aging

To help protect the mitochondria from age-related decay we need to enhance our intake of Coenzyme Q10 Ubiquinol which is 8 times more absorbed than regular CoQ10 as at least 95 percent of all cellular energy relies on it. CoQ10 has two electrons which make it a powerful antioxidant to fight free radical damage reducing oxidative stress. CoQ10 is so important that it is found in energy-intensive organs like the brain, liver, kidneys, and heart.

CoQ10 levels rise when you are young and decline as we age. And if someone recommended statins for you they can reduce CoQ10 levels by up to 45 percent.  With proper CoQ10 intake, you may not only slow down but possibly reverse the effects of aging.

Reversing Acceleration of Age-Related Diseases

Could aging cells play a role in age-related diseases? Most Certainly!

What most people don’t know is that our cells don’t age at the same time. Some have a short life and replace themselves often, while some live longer and may take years to replace. Because of oxidation, ultraviolet radiation, environmental toxins, some of our cells experience changes to their DNA that cause old cells not to die as they should. These are called senescent or senile cells.
